You will support an operational site, taking ownership of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), control systems, and plant improvement projects, with a focus on real‑world delivery as well as design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and improve process control systems and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
  • Work on PLC / DCS systems (for example Siemens, Allen Bradley, Honeywell)
  • Deliver control system upgrades and modifications
  • Produce SIL documentation, SRS, and verification work
  • Support plant troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Ensure compliance with IEC 61508 / 61511 standards
  • Support hazardous area instrumentation in ATEX environments
  • Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams
  • Support commissioning, testing, and system improvements

Requirements

  • Experience in C&I / Control Systems within process, energy, or industrial environments
  • Hands‑on experience with PLCs / DCS (for example Siemens, Honeywell, ABB)
  • Strong understanding of SIS and functional safety (IEC 61508 / 61511)
  • Experience working on or supporting live plant operations
  • Familiarity with hazardous areas (ATEX / BS EN 60079)
  • Practical, problem‑solving mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills
