Maintenance Engineer (Industrial / Manufacturing / Ex Forces) (BBBH25180) Newmarket, England

Salary: £43,000 - £48,000 per annum plus overtime, vehicle, bonus, private medical, and 5% pension.

We are a family‑run company, leading supplier of industrial products with a turnover of over £100 million. This role offers a long‑term, permanent position within a tight‑knit maintenance team in a south‑east England manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and facilities.
• Work on shot blasters, vacuums, overhead cranes, plasma cutters and saws.
• Receive mechanical or electrical training where required.
• Operate Monday to Thursday, 2 pm – 10 pm (40 hours per week).
• Optional overtime (paid at 1.5×).

Qualifications

• Licensed Maintenance Engineer with experience in industrial, manufacturing or forces environments.
• Background in mechanical or electrical maintenance preferred.
