Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and driven Sales Consultant / Lead Generator to join our Warrington-based team. This is a dual-role position combining outbound lead generation with consultative sales activity. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, engaging decision‑makers, and promoting renewable energy solutions to commercial clients.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow a career in B2B sales, offering structured training, ongoing support, and strong earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls to commercial clients
- Research and identify key decision‑makers using LinkedIn and Companies House
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads
- Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their energy needs
- Obtain energy bills from prospective clients to assess suitability and establish viability for renewable solutions
- Promote and pitch renewable energy solutions confidently and effectively
- Book high‑quality appointments for Business Development Managers
- Work towards and exceed individual and team targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline progress
Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident telephone manner with the ability to engage and influence
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and resilient
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport quickly with a range of stakeholders
- Sales or lead generation experience is advantageous but not essential
