Curriculum Manager – Beauty

Burnley College Sixth Form Centre is looking for a Curriculum Manager in Beauty to collaborate with teaching staff and industry professionals to develop relevant, up-to-date content that prepares students for successful careers in the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement to College standards in teaching and learning, and student retention and achievement within the framework of College quality systems.
• Carry out an agreed programme of classroom observations of full and part‑time staff.
• Appraise and line‑manage part‑time and some fractional staff.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience of successful teaching across a range of programmes.
• Experience liaising with employers and managing substantial programmes relevant to the curriculum area for at least 2 years.
