Geography Teacher / Geography ECT – September Start – Outstanding School

Our Outstanding 11-18 school in Merton is seeking a Geography Teacher or Geography Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our team this September. The Geography Department offers a well‑rounded curriculum that makes Geography relevant and exciting for all pupils.

Behaviour is exemplary, CPD opportunities are ample, staff wellbeing and workload are a top priority, and the department regularly visits some of the best school trips in the district.

Job Description

  • Geography Teacher
  • Full Time, Permanent Contract
  • September start
  • Pay: MPS1 – UPS3 with TLRs available (Inner London Pay Scale)
  • Salary Range: £38,766 – £60,092 + TLR
  • Teaching KS3‑KS5 Geography

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Geography Teacher with UK QTS
  • Confident, engaging and passionate about Geography
  • A team player who wants to work in a good sized department
  • Passionate about all students achieving their best, whether that is a C or an A*
