Title: Assistant Head of Year (Non–teaching role)
Working Hours and Compensation
- NJC Point 15 - 25
- £25,823 – £31,414 actual per annum
- 37 hours per week
- 39 weeks per year (Terms only)
Key Responsibilities
- Enable every student to fulfil their potential as individual learners, effective citizens and well‑rounded individuals.
- Lead a team of tutors and influence staff, parents/carers and stakeholders to raise aspiration and improve outcomes for all.
- Provide independent, proactive support to the school in achieving the best possible outcomes for all students.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Good basic education to GCSE level (including English and Maths).
- Completed relevant courses such as coaching, mentoring or study support.
- Previous experience working with young people.
- Motivated, independent and hardworking, capable of working on own initiative.
