Job Summary

As Senior Client Manager for National Security, you will play a key role in developing strategic client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring sustainable and efficient delivery across accounts. You will act as a senior partner to National Security clients while driving commercial success and operational excellence. Role Objectives
- Manage and grow a portfolio of National Security clients
- Identify and develop strategic growth opportunities
- Oversee and contribute to successful project delivery

Key Responsibilities
Client & Stakeholder Partnership
- Act as a strategic partner to National Security clients
- Build and maintain long-term relationships at all levels
- Develop strong understanding of the National Security landscape
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts
- Manage stakeholder expectations across technical and non-technical teams
- Act as escalation point for key client accounts
Project Delivery
- Support and oversee delivery of projects for National Security clients
- Collaborate across consulting, business analysis, and project management disciplines
- Ensure sustainable and efficient delivery processes
Commercial & Financial Management
- Drive commercial success and account profitability
- Develop and present business cases
- Identify and secure new revenue streams and partnerships
- Communicate value and optimise supplier relationships
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new strategic opportunities
- Develop compelling proposals and negotiate at senior levels
- Contribute to long-term account growth strategy
Leadership & Team Dynamics
- Champion positive team culture
- Coach individuals and teams
- Identify and address team dynamic challenges
- Foster collaboration and continuous improvement
Essential Requirements
- Experience managing client relationships within the National Security sector
- Strong business development and commercial experience
- Experience delivering projects in consulting, business analysis, or project management environments
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language
- Strong stakeholder management skills across senior audiences
- Experience developing and presenting business cases
- Active eDV security clearance
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
- Continuous UK residency for the past 10+ years
Interview Process
Stage 1 – Initial phone screening
Stage 2 – Capability interview focused on client management experience
Final Stage – Short presentation (10–15 minutes) and panel interview
