Facilities Manager
Location: Sennybridge
A vital role supporting the UK Defence Training Estate.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support facilities teams and supervisors, allocating work and monitoring performance
- Ensure facilities are available and compliant through inspections, planning and oversight of PPM and reactive tasks
- Manage accommodation, waste, stores, grounds maintenance and cleaning services
- Liaise with customers, Employer representatives and technical specialists
- Manage contractors and oversee handover and take back of facilities
- Complete risk assessments, method statements and required documentation
- Identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency and added value
Qualifications
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge (COSHH, risk assessments, safe systems of work - IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent)
- Experience managing facilities, services or estates in an operational environment
- Strong communication, organisation and workforce planning skills
- Ability to manage budgets, contractors and multiple priorities
- Confident IT skills
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to pass BPSS security clearance
- 5 years UK residency
