Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy startup on a mission to deliver a terawatt of renewable energy – fast. We're combining first-principles thinking with cutting-edge technology to build a radically better energy system. We raised $170M from top-tier investors including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, Box Group and strategic angels like Nico Rosberg, the Co-Founder of Solana and GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify, Uber and more.

We’re creating a fully integrated energy company: from developing solar, wind and hydrogen projects to real-time power trading and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass on savings to customers.

This is not a traditional operations role. You will sit at the intersection of AI, data, and real-world energy systems, responsible for deploying, scaling, and continuously improving AI-driven operations across the business.

You will turn AI from a set of tools into a core operational backbone that drives efficiency, automation, and decision-making across trading, energy networks, and internal workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-impact opportunities to apply AI across the business (trading, customer operations, product development, internal tooling)
  • Redesign core operational processes to be AI-first
  • Eliminate manual work across functions through intelligent automation
  • Build internal AI tools that supercharge teams across product, finance, and operations
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies rapidly
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business functions

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from a top university in STEM
  • Deep curiosity about AI and a track record of using it in real-world settings
  • Relentless approach to solving problems
  • Comfortable learning quickly and iterating
  • Ability to work well individually or in a team

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and an equity sign-on bonus
  • Biannual bonus scheme
  • Fully expensed tech to match your needs
  • Paid annual leave
  • Breakfast and dinner allowance for office based employees
