Responsibilities
- Executing laboratory and field validation testing, inspection, and data acquisition to support software and system quality
- Supporting the design and setup of test environments, test facilities, instrumentation, and validation systems
- Developing and maintaining test scripts, tools, and software to support verification and validation activities
- Supporting product and service validation activities as part of the development lifecycle
- Developing solutions under guidance, within a team, or based on established organizational standards and precedents
- Collaborating with SPB and EB business leadership, communicating testing needs, project approaches, and outcomes
- Presenting validation results, insights, and findings to relevant stakeholders
- Working effectively within cross‑functional teams to deliver quality outcomes
- Leading analytical and testing activities using proven methodologies, tools, and approaches, where applicable
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance methodologies
- Experience with test environments, data acquisition, and validation tools
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and business stakeholders
Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven experience in Engineering or Technology)
- Have proven experience in testing or quality assurance
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to influence others and lead small teams
- Have experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
- Have proven ability in problem identification, root cause analysis, and solution development
