We are looking for a Restaurant Manager with proven capabilities for running a successful restaurant and promoting excellent customer service. Enthusiastic and proactive development of the business, with teamwork and communication as vital, are essential.
Responsibilities
- The smooth running of the department with diligence, discipline and trust.
- Ensuring the integrity and security of the tills and till area.
- Ensuring all relevant risk and COSHH assessments have been completed and control measures followed.
- Monitoring ongoing operations and resolving issues promptly.
- Identifying and reporting all issues relating to your produce or the team quickly and efficiently.
- Ensuring all colleagues and customers are dealt with in a professional, respectful and attentive fashion.
- Identifying opportunities to improve sales with good value, high quality, consistent and unique produce.
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues in your department.
- Identifying and reporting health and safety issues.
- Being aware of and managing all food hygiene requirements.
- Ensuring all company fixtures and fittings are looked after.
- Ensuring all company property, including machinery, equipment, retail stock and non‑retail items for colleague use, is looked after and used correctly.
- Empowering and developing yourself and your team to their full potential through encouragement and training.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of management experience at a busy restaurant with a large team.
- Proven passion for guest service and ability to handle escalated customer queries and grievances.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication and team‑management abilities.
- Good IT skills – Excel and Word.
- Level 2/3 food hygiene qualification.
