£40,000 - £45,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Training + Benefits

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in sheet metal, stainless steel or machinery product design, looking to join a specialist manufacturer working across multiple industries?

Do you enjoy producing detailed 2D & 3D drawings, working on varied projects from concept through to manufacture, and collaborating within a proactive engineering team?

The company are a well-established manufacturer operating across sectors including food processing, poultry, agriculture and specialist stainless steel applications such as swimming pools and moving floor systems.

Known for their versatility and technical capability, they design and manufacture bespoke equipment including slurry handling systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a wide variety of projects, with exposure to both concept design and modification work, within a supportive and experienced team environment.

The Role:

• Produce detailed working and assembly drawings using 2D & 3D CAD
• Design and modify products using stainless steel and sheet metal materials
• Work primarily with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Ensure all designs meet technical specifications and project requirements
• Prepare parts lists, contract documentation and supporting technical documents

The Person:

• Experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing environment
• Confident in SolidWorks
