We’re seeking a skilled Site Mechanical Engineer to join a growing, service-focused team working across a diverse range of mechanical systems. If you enjoy problem-solving, working on-site, and taking ownership of your work, this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in keeping critical systems running smoothly, including:
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing pumps, motors, fans, and rotating equipment
- Carrying out bearing replacements and mechanical seal changes
- Working on pumping stations, including sewage systems and associated equipment
- Lifting and clearing pumps, inspecting float switches, and checking control systems
- Diagnosing faults and delivering effective, long-term solutions
- Interacting directly with customers and representing the business on-site
This is a field-based role with local travel (range of approx 50 miles), offering real variety and autonomy.
What You’ll Need
- Solid experience working with pumps, motors, inverters, and mechanical systems
- Understanding of electrical panels and control systems
- Proven experience in pump and motor overhauls (5+ years preferred)
- Comfortable working on-site and liaising with customers
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to work at height or in confined spaces (training provided)

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am-4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am-3:30pm
