Are you a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant who genuinely enjoys making a difference in the classroom? We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Pontefract area who are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis, supporting pupils across Key Stage 2.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valued and consistent presence within the school, supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally, and working closely with experienced class teachers.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils within Key Stage 2, both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
• Providing targeted support to help pupils reach their full potential
• Building positive, meaningful relationships with pupils and staff
• Promoting a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified Teaching Assistant or equivalent recognised qualification
• Proven experience working within a primary school setting, ideally KS2
• A calm, patient and proactive approach to supporting children
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for education
• Reliability and commitment to a long-term role
