We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Gateshead to recruit a passionate and dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant. Through Protocol Education, you will play a vital role in supporting a pupil with additional needs to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing tailored 1:1 support within the classroom environment
• Breaking down learning into accessible, engaging steps
• Supporting emotional regulation using consistent strategies
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and resilience
• Helping the pupil build positive relationships with peers
• Working closely with teachers, SENDCo, and external professionals
