About the Role

We’re looking for a School Youth Support Worker to join a welcoming secondary school, supporting students aged 11–18. You’ll play a vital role in helping students feel safe, understood, and ready to engage in learning — working closely with teaching and pastoral teams to create a positive and inclusive school environment.

You’ll be working alongside the school’s Specialist Resource Base (SRB), supporting students with additional learning needs through a mix of mainstream access and specialist provision. Support is personalised and rooted in person-centred practice, focusing on identifying barriers and helping students thrive both academically and emotionally.
