Role Overview: BMS Commissioning Engineer (Northwest Region)

This role is perfect for someone with a technical or electrical background who is looking to build their expertise in Building Management Systems. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring, testing, and delivering BMS installations across a range of client sites, supported by specialist training and ongoing development.





Key Responsibilities:

· Configure and test BMS control panels, controllers, and field devices to ensure systems run smoothly.

· Commission new BMS installations and integrate additional equipment into existing networks.

· Develop and fine-tune control software and graphics interfaces for client use.

· Carry out on-site commissioning, system handovers, and customer demonstrations.

· Collaborate with Project Managers on installation planning and technical support.

· Maintain documentation including commissioning reports, site records, and system manuals.

· Build strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted technical advisor on BMS solutions.

· Ensure safe working practices in line with company and site procedures.





Key Requirements:

· Background in electrical engineering, controls, or related disciplines.

· Experience working with BMS or control systems is desirable but not essential (full training provided).

· Familiarity with HVAC principles and building services is advantageous.

· Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and system configuration tools.

· Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites within the region.

· Full UK driving licence.





Package:

· Salary £40,000 – £52,000
