Fund Operations Analyst - Hedge Fund / Credit fund exp

We are currently engaged on behalf of a highly regarded alternative investment platform seeking to appoint a Fund Operations Analyst / Associate into its London-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a fund operations professional with prior hedge fund or credit fund experience to join a growing and commercially active investment environment. The organisation operates within a fast-paced and collaborative setting, offering exposure across multiple operational disciplines including treasury, trade support, reconciliations, NAV oversight and loan operations. The successful individual will work closely with senior operational leadership and investment professionals, supporting the day-to-day infrastructure of the fund.

The business is seeking both:

• An immediate temporary / interim resource, and
• A longer-term permanent hire

As such, candidates available at short notice or immediately available will be of particular interest.

The Opportunity

This position offers broad operational exposure across the investment lifecycle and would suit an individual who enjoys working within a dynamic alternative investment environment where accuracy, ownership and responsiveness are highly valued.

The successful candidate will play a key role supporting operational efficiency, cash management, investment support processes and oversight functions across the fund platform.

Core Responsibilities

Key duties are expected to include:

• Supporting daily treasury and cash management activities
• Assisting with liquidity monitoring and payment processes
• NAV oversight and coordination with fund administrators
• Oversight of reconciliations across cash, trades and positions
• Supporting loan operations and lifecycle event processing
• Trade support activities across investment transactions
• Investigation and resolution of operational breaks and discrepancies
• Monitoring operational controls and supporting process improvements
• Liaising with counterparties, custodians, administrators and internal stakeholders
• Supporting broader fund operations and operational reporting requirements
• Assisting with operational projects and ad-hoc initiatives where required

Candidate Profile

We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

• Prior experience within a hedge fund, credit fund, alternative investment manager, asset manager or similar investment environment
• Exposure across fund operations, treasury, loan operations, trade support or reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and operational control awareness
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-moving environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive and hands-on approach
• Experience interacting with fund administrators, brokers, custodians or counterparties
• Strong Excel and operational systems familiarity

Experience within private credit, leveraged finance, structured products or alternative investments would be viewed favourably.
