Senior Corporate Solicitor (Private Equity Specialism) | 6–10+ PQE | Remote working | £80k – £90k DOE
A highly regarded, untraditional and progressive firm with strong Private Equity clients is seeking a Senior Corporate Solicitor to join its Corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Corporate Solicitor seeking high-quality work focused on Private Equity transactions within a modern and commercially driven environment.
The Opportunity
- You will play a key role in supporting a busy Corporate practice, advising a broad range of businesses, investors, and management teams on a variety of corporate transactions and advisory matters.
- The role offers significant responsibility from the outset, including managing your own matters and client relationships, acting as a lead contact on transactions, and supporting junior lawyers within the team.
- You will advise on a broad range of Corporate matters including shareholder agreements, articles of association, investment agreements, equity financing transactions, corporate restructures, management buy-outs and Private Equity transactions including platform acquisitions and bolt-on deals.
- The role will also involve drafting and reviewing rollover documentation, subscription agreements and management equity arrangements, managing due diligence processes, drafting disclosure letters and ensuring post-completion matters are handled efficiently and accurately.
- There is also opportunity to support workflow improvement initiatives, maintain precedent documents and mentor more junior fee earners within the team.
About You
- You will be a Qualified Solicitor with ideally 6–10+ years’ PQE in Corporate Law and strong experience handling Private Equity matters.
- You will have strong technical Corporate transactional experience and be comfortable managing matters independently with sound commercial judgement.
- The firm is seeking someone personable, commercially minded and proactive, with excellent communication and client relationship skills. Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers would be advantageous.
- Whilst a business development mindset is welcomed, the firm already has a strong flow of existing work and established referrer relationships.
