Pension Technician

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented pensions professional to work as a Senior Pensions Technician / Scheme Events Specialist. This role is responsible for delivering complex pension scheme events and projects through accurate data extraction, analysis, cleansing, processing, and reporting, ensuring all work is completed in line with client, contractual, and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting scheme event delivery, maintaining high-quality standards, mentoring junior colleagues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Key Tasks

• Run and specify data extracts from pensions administration systems, including bespoke reporting.
• Transform and manipulate extracted or received data into required formats and structures.
• Perform and specify data uploads to administration systems.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong experience within pensions administration, pensions data, or scheme events.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, data manipulation, templates, and macros/VBA.
• Experience handling large volumes of data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and uploads.
