The Opportunity


We’re looking for a Preconstruction Manager to join Tilbury Douglas Engineering (TDE), supporting our South Wales & Bristol business. Reporting to the Regional Pre-Construction Director, the Preconstruction Manager will lead client development, bid coordination, and proposal delivery across the region.


This Preconstruction Manager role focuses on building strong client relationships, developing new opportunities, and securing profitable work with both existing and new customers. Based from our Clevedon office near Bristol, the role offers hybrid working and regional travel.

The successful Preconstruction Manager will have experience in business development, customer management, and bid coordination within construction or engineering. Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills are essential, along with a proactive and commercially focused approach.
