Compliance Manager – FTC (6-12 months) | Lloyd’s Syndicate

London | 4 days a week

A fast-growing Lloyd’s Syndicate is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join the business on a fixed-term contract.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing Compliance team known for successfully delivering robust regulatory frameworks, meaningful business partnering and high-impact projects across a dynamic and fast-paced Lloyd’s environment.

The successful candidate must have strong Lloyd’s syndicate experience and the ability to operate confidently within a growing specialty insurance business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and enhance the Regulatory Compliance Framework
• Lead regulatory risk assessments and compliance monitoring activity
• Draft and review compliance policies and procedures
• Support delivery of the annual Compliance Monitoring and Training Plans
• Oversee broker onboarding, due diligence and TOBA processes
• Manage regulatory updates and provide practical business advice
• Oversee sanctions reviews, complaints handling and reporting
• Support the Lloyd’s Oversight Principles self-assessment process
• Mentor and support junior Compliance team members

Requirements:

• Essential Lloyd’s syndicate or managing agent experience
• Strong understanding of Lloyd’s and FCA regulatory requirements
• Experience building and improving compliance frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
