A scaling fintech building payment and financial infrastructure used by digital platforms and enterprise clients. The proposition centres on embedding financial services into products where users already operate, with a focus on reliability, speed, and regulatory strength.
The company is now moving from early growth into a more mature phase, with increasing demand, broader client adoption, and a need for stronger product leadership at executive level.
The Role
The Chief Product Officer will take ownership of the product function and set a clear direction for how the platform evolves. This is not a purely strategic post. It requires someone who can define vision while staying close to execution, ensuring product decisions translate into tangible outcomes for customers and the business.
You will sit at the centre of the organisation, working closely with technology, commercial, and regulatory teams to shape a product offering that can scale without losing focus or control.
What you will be responsible for
Setting the long term product direction and ensuring it aligns with commercial and growth priorities
- Building and leading a high performing product organisation across management, design, and delivery
- Turning market opportunity and client demand into structured, prioritised product initiatives
- Partnering closely with engineering to deliver robust, scalable platform capabilities
- Engaging directly with customers and partners to inform product evolution
- Establishing clear product processes, governance, and decision making frameworks
- Ensuring all product development aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements
- Using data, usage insight, and feedback loops to continuously refine the product
- Acting as a key voice at executive level, contributing to wider business strategy
What we are looking for
- Experience operating at CPO or senior product leadership level within fintech, payments, or financial services
- Evidence of building and scaling product teams in a growth environment
- Strong track record delivering platform or infrastructure products
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands on leadership
- Commercial awareness and a clear understanding of how product drives revenue and adoption
- Experience working closely with engineering teams and modern development environments
- Credibility with senior stakeholders, including investors and board members
Useful Background
- Exposure to embedded finance, payments, or banking as a service models
- Experience expanding products across different markets or regulatory frameworks
- Familiarity with API led products or developer focused platforms
- Data driven approach to product development and performance tracking
