HR Administrator | 3-Month Contract | London - Hybrid 3 days | £130 per day
We are looking for an organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our HR team on a 3-month contract, supporting the delivery of core people processes across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 6–12 months+ HR administration experience and hands-on exposure to Workday, looking to build on their HR career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Reporting into the HR team, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations, supporting the employee lifecycle, maintaining accurate records, and providing first-line support to managers and employees.
This role would suit someone who is detail-oriented, highly organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while delivering a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across the full employee lifecycle (starters, leavers, contract changes, onboarding).
- Maintain and update employee records within Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support onboarding processes, including issuing contracts, coordinating inductions, and managing documentation.
- Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers.
- Support payroll processes by collating and providing accurate employee data.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee documentation.
- Support the wider HR team with ad hoc projects and administration tasks.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 6–12 months’ experience in an HR Administration, HR Assistant, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience using Workday (essential).
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle administration.
- Experience maintaining confidential employee records and HR data.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication skills with a professional and approachable manner.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of UK employment practices is desirable.
- Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Level 3 (or working towards) would be advantageous but not essential.
