Your new role

As Finance Controller, you will report into the Record to Report Manager and play a pivotal role in building a high-performing accounting team within a shared services environment. You will be responsible for delivering a strong financial control framework, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting across multiple entities, and driving continuous process will partner closely with senior leaders, providing insightful financial analysis, robust reporting, and appropriate challenge to support effective decision-making and sustainable business growth. Alongside technical excellence, you will lead, coach and develop your team while fostering an inclusive, values-driven and safety-first culture.

What you'll need to succeed

• A recognised professional accounting qualification and degree-level education
• Significant post-qualification experience in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, ideally within a shared services or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of statutory reporting, financial controls, compliance, and tax requirements
• Proven experience leading, coaching and developing finance teams
• The ability to interpret complex financial information and translate it into clear, actionable insight
• A proactive mindset with a track record of driving process improvement and strengthening controls
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to constructively challenge senior managers
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, change-driven environment with a focus on continuous improvement and technology adoption
