This role also requires undertaking Authorised Person duties, contractor control, and ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Deliver electrical bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation works across client sites. Complete electrical PPM, proactive and reactive tasks issued through the helpdesk within agreed timeframes. Carry out wider building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC and mechanical-related tasks. Provide callout response in line with the client callout rota requirements. Undertake contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work. Ensure all electrical equipment operates to specified performance criteria. Ensure equipment and surrounding areas conform to agreed company standards. Represent the company professionally to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Significant previous experience delivering reactive and PPM building services maintenance. Experience working within facilities management or building services in commercial properties. One of the following electrical qualifications: NVQ 2356 / 2357 and NVQ 2356 AM2, or City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation with AM1 and AM2, or City & Guilds 236/2360 Electrical Installations Part 1 & 2. 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations. Full UK Driving Licence. Desirable Recognised electrical apprenticeship. City & Guilds 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing). JIB accreditation. IPAF and/or PASMA certification. Authorised Person (AP) Information City & Guilds 2391 (required to become the Authorised Person). £2,000 Authorised Person allowance payable once AP status is achieved. AP qualification typically achieved within approximately 3 months. AP duties to be carried out across the whole of East Anglia.
