About the Role
The Data Officer will play a key role in the management and analysis of school data, providing accurate information to senior leadership, teachers, and governors. Responsibilities include:
Managing and maintaining school databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Producing reports and data analysis to inform teaching and learning strategies.
Supporting assessment and tracking systems, including monitoring student progress.
Maintaining records for admissions, attendance, and examination data.
Ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
Assisting staff with training and guidance on data systems and processes.
Supporting improvements to data management processes and reporting systems.
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in data management, administration, or a school environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and database systems.
