Consultant Psychiatrist in Older Adult SDFS, Chelmsford

Role Overview

As a Consultant Older Adult Psychiatrist, you will provide senior clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team. The service focuses on patients over the age of 70 years with mental health problems and those with an established or suspected diagnosis of dementia. The team may accept patients below 70 years if they meet the criteria for frailty.

Responsibilities

Provide medical leadership to the Chelmsford Specialist Dementia and Frailty Service based at the Crystal Centre, Chelmsford.

Qualifications

Full GMC registration and membership of the Specialist Register. Appropriate CCT or equivalent, or within six months of obtaining a CCT on the date of application. Clinical experience in older adult psychiatry is essential.
