A fast-growing renewable energy platform is looking to hire an Analyst for its Corporate Development and Investments team in London.
The business is focused on developing, financing, and operating renewable energy and energy transition assets across the UK and Europe.
Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
- Support investment analysis, financial modelling, corporate development, and commercial evaluation across a renewable energy and infrastructure portfolio.
- Build, update, and maintain project financial models.
- Analyse project returns, sensitivities, valuation assumptions, downside cases, and key commercial drivers.
- Prepare investment materials, approval papers, market research, internal presentations, and financial reports.
- Support M&A, partnership opportunities, strategic investments, and due diligence workstreams.
- Assist with project finance processes, including model updates, data rooms, lender materials, adviser requests, and transaction execution.
- Conduct commercial analysis across revenue assumptions, pricing, offtake structures, and market trends.
- Work closely with investment, finance, commercial, legal, and development teams.
- Help improve modelling tools, templates, and analytical processes across the business.
Candidate Profile
- Suitable for someone with 1–2 years of experience in investment banking, infrastructure, renewable energy, project finance, transaction services, valuations, corporate development, or a similar analytical finance role.
- Strong financial modelling experience is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial information.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business.
- Interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, energy transition, or project finance.
- Experience with solar, battery storage, wind, or broader energy infrastructure would be helpful but is not essential.
- Right to work in the UK preferred.
