Team Leader

Team Leader – Street Cleansing & Waste Collection, Wembley Stadium

Salary: Competitive plus Veolia benefits.

Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 06:00‑14:30 or 08:00‑16:30, 30 minute unpaid break. Start times alternate every two weeks.

Location: Veolia Brent, Wembley Stadium, Street Cleansing and Waste Collection.

What you’ll be doing

• Supervise the team’s cleansing and waste collection duties safely and effectively.
• Begin and end each day at Wembley Stadium, receiving any special instructions and checking your vehicle.
• Support waste collection and cleansing operations day‑to‑day and on stadium event days.
• Maintain and clean internal and external areas using supplied equipment, including manual and mechanical sweeping, jet washing, bulky waste clearance, litter removal, dog fouling, rapid response to RTIs and spillages.
• Complete daily checks of the vehicle per the driver operator handbook and keep all paperwork up to date and submitted daily.
• Comply with traffic laws, legislation, security and load weight requirements.
• Report any accidents that occur during your shift to your Key Account Manager and complete incident reports before leaving work.
• Maintain a courteous and professional relationship with members of the public, clients, staff and colleagues.
• Work overtime and weekends as required; night shift may be necessary.

What we’re looking for

• Time‑management and decision‑making ability.
• Experience working as part of a team with strong communication skills at all levels.
• Basic understanding of Health & Safety and compliance with Wembley Stadium security measures.
• Strong time management skills and a can‑do attitude.
• Team‑player mindset to deliver premium service to customers.
• Class 2 (Cat C) licence is desirable; previous driving experience.
