Illuminate BD is a London-based business development consultancy that helps creative agencies grow through high-quality outbound lead generation. We are hiring a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to work directly alongside the founder on prospecting, outreach, relationship building, and client delivery.

Duties
- Identify and pursue new business leads through research, targeted outreach, and sector insight.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting relevant solutions.
- Take ownership of the outbound process from initial contact to arranging qualified one-to-one meetings.
- Work closely with the founder and team on messaging, prospecting strategy, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare clear outreach messages, reports, and insights for internal and client use.
- Support client strategy sessions with research and recommendations.
- Keep up to date with industry trends across the creative and marketing sectors to inform targeting and positioning.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years’ experience in business development, outbound prospecting, sales, or lead generation (B2B preferred).
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior marketing and brand stakeholders.
- Highly organised, commercially aware, and able to manage multiple outreach streams.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and excited by working in a fast‑moving, start-up‑style environment.
- Comfortable analysing data and performance metrics to improve results.
- A qualification in business, marketing, or a related field is helpful but not essential — curiosity and drive matter more.
