Wraparound Childcare Operations Manager
Colchester and Surrounding Areas
Term-Time only / 35 hours per week (additional hours and overtime available during school holidays)
Monday to Friday role
£22,500 – £25,000 actual salary (£30,000 – £34,000 full-time equivalent)

If so, we are supporting one of the leading providers in Essex in finding a Wraparound Operations Manager to lead and grow their wraparound provision (breakfast and after school clubs) across multiple school settings.
This is a leadership role, responsible for overseeing multiple sites, developing teams and individuals, ensuring Ofsted-ready standards, and driving growth. The role is initially offered as a term-time role (with overtime available during school holidays) and comes with a clear pathway into a senior leadership position with ambitious plans continues to grow the wraparound provision from 4 to 10 locations over the next 3-5 years
Leadership, Recruitment & Training
Lead, manage and develop Wraparound Settings Leads across multiple sites
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure all settings are safe, compliant and Ofsted-ready at all times by leading mock Ofsted visits across all sites and maintaining and reviewing all policies, procedures and risk assessments
Operations & Performance
Oversee day-to-day delivery across all wraparound settings, ensuring consistency in session structure, quality and organisation, and profitability
Growth & Expansion
Support the launch of new wraparound settings and work with the Business Development Manager to grow provision by identifying opportunities to increase attendance and drive occupancy
Parent & School Relationships
Build strong relationships with school partners through leading termly review meetings with schools and ensuring high-quality communication with parents and partners
This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974
