We are proud of our finely engineered microphones and audio solutions that connect people and create remarkable sound experiences – whether in the studio, conference room, or on stage.
For us, the audio industry is one of the most exciting to work in. In our global family business, you can expect not only a unique team where we trust, value and support each other, but also the opportunity to make your own significant contribution to our collective progress.
The Business Development Manager drives new strategic business opportunities across defined verticals – including Live Sound (primary focus), Broadcast, and Recording – through consultative selling, stakeholder engagement, and the development of complex, project‑based opportunities aligned to customer needs. The role builds and nurtures long‑term relationships, originates high‑value opportunities, and delivers sustainable commercial growth by meeting territory opportunity value targets, sub‑regional sales objectives, and assigned KPIs. Strong technical proficiency is essential, enabling the configuration and demonstration of Sennheiser and Neumann solutions and clear articulation of their value proposition. The position works closely with Sales Managers, Inside Sales Support, and Technical Application Engineering within a structured sales process.
Success requires proven ability to identify, approach, and acquire new end customers; assess their needs; and offer tailored solutions. The role demands strong consultative selling capability, skill in identifying growth opportunities, and the ability to generate desire for Sennheiser solutions through compelling presentations and demonstrations. It requires a solid technical understanding of product integration, interfaces, and networks, along with knowledge of market drivers, competitive dynamics, and customer decision processes. Strong communication, active listening, analytical skills, and disciplined pipeline and CRM management are essential. The role also requires extensive networking, excellent time management, empathy, social competence, and the ability to travel up to four days per week. A passion for continuous learning and deepening expertise in Sennheiser’s portfolio is critical.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, regardless of gender identity, national origin, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, disability, or age.
