EET (Essar Energy Transition) plays a major role in supplying the Northwest and the wider UK with essential fuels. We produce over 16% of the UK’s road fuels, supply key feedstocks to the petrochemical industry, and are investing heavily in low‑carbon energy solutions. We work with major retail fuel brands, supermarkets, Manchester Airport, leading airlines, and regional transport operators. We are also a key partner in the HyNet project, helping to deliver the region’s low‑carbon future. With over 900 skilled colleagues, we offer a strong safety culture, technically challenging work, and some of the best training in the energy sector.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support Executive role. The primary purpose of the position is to provide first‑line support within a fast‑paced, high‑volume, low‑margin business, supporting the end‑to‑end sales, order fulfilment, and billing lifecycle. The role involves regular interaction with the Sales team, wider internal stakeholders, and external partners, acting as a key day‑to‑day point of contact for our customers.
You will manage a broad range of transactional enquiries, resolving issues efficiently and accurately with a strong focus on customer service and continuous improvement. By ensuring queries and transactions are handled effectively, you will help support the smooth flow of business operations through to the timely and accurate receipt of payments.
A commercial degree would be advantageous but is not essential for this role. Candidates must have previous experience in a customer service or operational/sales support position, along with working knowledge of the SAP Sales and Distribution module or other comparable back‑office transactional systems. A solid understanding of the B2B sales process is required, including awareness of the interdependencies across each stage of the customer journey, from order intake through to billing and ongoing support.
This vacancy will close on Tuesday 19th May.
