CEVA Logistics has been awarded a major new contract with a high‑profile client, marking an exciting phase of growth for the business expanding on our e‑commerce offering. This is a new build implementation offering exciting opportunities across contract logistics.
As a result, we have an exciting opportunity for Inbound Shift Managers who will take full responsibility for the execution of inbound activity across your assigned shift. Leading teams on the ground, you will ensure inbound volumes are received, unloaded, verified and system‑booked accurately and on time, protecting downstream flow, inventory integrity and service performance.
This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong operational discipline, visible presence and the ability to make real‑time decisions in a fast‑paced, shift‑based logistics operation.
Fixed AM and PM shifts available: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.
Reporting into Inbound Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
To be successful in your application you will have proven experience of managing or supervising a team, ideally within a fast‑paced, shift‑based warehousing or e‑commerce environment. You will have a strong understanding of inbound operations with a proven track record of delivering against safety, quality and productivity targets, and be knowledgeable in delivering improvements, with an understanding of LEAN and continuous improvement methods utilised in an operational setting.
You will be a confident and visible leader with excellent communication skills, able to remain calm and decisive under pressurised, high volume, and time‑critical situations.
It would be desirable, however it is not essential if you have proven site start up, peak or ramp‑up operational experience.
