Job Description
We are looking for an eCommerce Production Coordinator to join our Total Platform team on a 12‑month FTC (maternity cover). Based from NEXT Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire.
The Role
Total Platform is an exciting business‑to‑business online service that offers brands a full solution for eCommerce, including website, warehousing, logistics, customer care, marketing and customer data management. As an eCommerce Production Coordinator, you will manage the end‑to‑end launch and maintenance of products for our Total Platform clients such as Reiss, GAP, Joules, Victoria’s Secret, JoJo Maman Bébé, FatFace and The Set. You’ll act as the vital link between our internal trading teams and external clients, ensuring every product is polished to perfection while leading an offshore production team.
What You’ll Take On
- Audit and enhance product titles, copy, and tone of voice (ToV) to ensure brand alignment and SEO best practices across diverse client sites.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of attribution queries to ensure products are correctly categorized, filtered, and easily discoverable for customers.
- Assign daily workloads to the Pune‑based team, monitor performance against KPIs and provide training to maintain quality standards.
- Identify and implement opportunities to integrate AI into current processes, driving efficiency in copy generation and data mapping.
- Support workflow automation by identifying manual bottlenecks and implementing automated solutions.
- Act as the primary contact for Total Platform trade teams, resolving issues professionally and ensuring items are live within agreed SLAs.
- Develop production reports and schedule workloads to meet client launch deadlines.
What You’ll Bring
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Google Sheets and experience interrogating systems and managing large datasets.
- Leadership experience (or strong potential) in managing offshore teams, setting clear priorities, and maintaining quality under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical or attribution‑related issues to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Proactive problem‑solving ability, capable of investigating issues independently and proposing modern, scalable solutions.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages for data manipulation.
- Experience with automation processes or tools that streamline digital workflows.
- Interest in how Generative AI can be applied to e‑commerce production and content optimisation.
