Client Insight Manager – Argos Insights

Nectar360 (N360) offers suppliers comprehensive multi‑channel marketing solutions in and around Sainsbury’s and Argos stores and online. Using Nectar, the UK’s most comprehensive customer database, teams conduct advanced analysis to uncover new insights about shopper interactions and brands.
We are looking for an ambitious Client Insight Manager with Insight Commercialisation experience to work with external Argos suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive the uptake of the Sainsbury’s Insight Platform (SIP) for Argos.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Argos Data & Insights budget, determine risks and identify opportunities to hit budget and deliver year‑over‑year growth.
- Lead and direct pipeline opportunities, annual contract renewals, run platform demonstrations, create quotes for prospective clients and work with existing brands on SIP for Argos to achieve the annual revenue target.
- Play a key role in delivering Data & Insight Services to Argos suppliers, supporting and aligning with the Nectar360 Data & Insight strategy within the N360 Argos Client Service and Data & Insight teams.
- Act as a champion of SIP for Argos, driving the proposition, landing and growing the SIP‑Argos data proposition for clients while collaborating with Client Service, Commercial, Supplier Planning and Data & Insight teams.
- Work collaboratively with client service teams (Client Directors, Senior Client Managers, Client Managers, Executive levels) and with the Data & Insights team.
- Confidently manage client relationships, develop a deep knowledge of client businesses, and help identify how SIP‑Argos will improve business decisions and opportunities.

Essential Criteria
- Experience working in a fast‑moving and pressured environment.
- Experience of working in category management, consumer insights, analytics or marketing function (Retail, General Merchandise, FMCG, or consultancy background preferred).
- Strong people and relationship‑building skills with clients.
- Experience with insight practices and/or other customer data sets and tools (e.g. GfK, NPD, Nielsen, Kantar, IRI).
- Experience working to monthly targets and financial management.
- Strong analytical and numerical capabilities.
- Outstanding verbal, written and presentation style.
- Strong management skills.
- Excellent project management.
- Comfortable leading and working with ambiguity, changing situations and stretching targets.
- High resilience and tenacity, able to deal with challenges from across the business while maintaining a positive and proactive style.
- Drive and passion that is infectious, delivering as a leader and individual while motivating the broader team to deliver stretching sales targets.
- Computer literate.
