Rising Ohanas CIC is a South London‑based organisation dedicated to support neurodivergent young families with complex needs through parenting support, assessments, and trauma‑informed workshops.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to young mothers participating in the 6‑week Confident Beginnings programme in the Bromley/Orpington borough.
- Facilitate programme activities, ensuring a welcoming, safe, empowering and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with other staff and community partners to deliver the programme and provide individual support as needed.
Qualifications and Desired Attributes
- Experienced or volunteer individuals with background in youth work, mentoring, family support, wellbeing, community engagement, facilitation or programme coordination.
- Compassionate, encouraging, community‑minded and motivated to help shape a positive experience for young mums.
- Paid roles are available depending on experience and responsibilities; volunteer opportunities are also available with possible travel expenses and stipends where applicable.
