THE ROLE:
As Front Office Reception Supervisor you will report to the Reception Manager and supervise a large reception team in the exceptional delivery of 5* service on check in and check out.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role:
- Guest check-in and check-out, billing, queries, resort knowledge, and call handling.
- Leading daily briefings and handovers
- Organising daily workload, delegate tasks and co-ordinate breaks
- Monitoring performance via checklists and SOPs
- Providing feedback, and undertake informal counselling to support improved performance
- Supporting the team with operational issues as they arise
- On job training of new employees
- Handling and resolving guest feedbackDepartmental requisitions
- Billing queries, adjustments and recoveries.
- Allocations and queued rooms

- Departmental requisitions
- Cash ups and banking

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
- HND or equivalent/ or equivalent experience in hospitality
- Current or recent experience in Reception/Front Office/Reservations within 100+ bedroom hotel or resort at 4/5* standard
- Strong IT skills, proficient in use of Microsoft Word & Excel, experience with Resortsuite or similar property management systems beneficial.
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
