Warehouse Administrator – Skelmersdale Site
Salary: £14.46 per hour.
Working hours: Monday–Friday, rotating shifts: 6am‑2pm, 2pm‑10pm, 10pm‑6am.
As a Warehouse Administrator you will ensure that all goods in vehicles are booked, tipped and monitored in a timely and effective manner, and that all administrative duties are carried out accurately.
Key Duties
- Deal with incoming vehicles and dispatch lorries.
- Daily contact with customers, hauliers and drivers.
- Act as the main point of contact for incoming phone calls.
- Fully utilize systems available (e.g., Customers SAP, Vision integrated management system) to plan and execute day‑to‑day operations.
- Provide customer service management, liaise with internal and external customers to deliver highest levels of service.
- Manage stock for customer and IPS accuracy in inbound and outbound systems.
- Ensure customer ways of working and system procedures are adhered to within good time frames.
- Adhere to health and safety instructions while performing duties.
- Ensure all stock on site is correct and accounted for in IPS and customer systems.
Qualifications
- IT literate with knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong communication skills, both internal and external.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and organisational skills.
- Previous admin/stock control experience.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage own time effectively.
