Contract Manager

Contract Manager Highways Drainage Location:Warwick, Warwickshire Salary:£45,000 – £55,000 + Company Van or Car Allowance +Bonus Our client, a fast-growing drainage contractor, is seeking an experienced, proactive, and driven Contract Manager in Warwickshire. In this pivotal role, you will manage and resource a wide range of operational drainage activities, including gully emptying, reactive jetting, root cutting, CCTV surveys, and traffic management. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated drainage / highways professional to lead a key contract and drive operational success. The Role:

• Overall responsibility for contract delivery, health & safety, and monthly P&L
• Lead and supervise a small, agile depot team in a flexible and innovative environment
• Coordinate and plan on-site resources, ensuring safe working practices at all times
• Manage contract performance, standards, and targets
• Line management of multiple drainage personnel, handling any performance issues
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Develop, monitor, and manage the works programme and schedule of rates
• Oversee cost control, monthly applications, and contract pricing
• Conduct regular site audits with a focus on safety and quality

About You:

• Proven experience as a Contract Manager or similar within the drainage or highways industry
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Skilled in managing safe working practices
• CSCS card holder & health and safety qualification (SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely)
• Excellent team leadership, planning, and client-facing skills

Benefits:

• Salary up to £55,000 per year
