About the company

An ambitious and respected business in Belfast city centre is seeking to add a Financial Controller to their finance function as a result of continued success and plans for further expansion. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a well-rounded role, offering a market leading salary and benefits package as well as huge potential for career progression within the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial reporting processes.
• Ensure statutory compliance, financial controls and payroll oversight.
• Support senior leadership with commercial analysis and strategic planning.
• Drive process improvements and investigate financial variances.
• Manage and develop the finance team while ensuring high performance standards.

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Leadership Skills
• Strong IT Skills - Excel
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
