I am working with a well-established manufacturing organisation on their Accounts Assistant position. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting transactional finance, sales and purchase ledger activities, and wider office operations.
What Were Looking For:
- Previous experience in a transactional finance or finance administration role
- Strong experience across sales ledger and purchase ledger duties
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- AAT/IATI/ATI qualification or strong accounts technician-level experience is desirable
- Experience within manufacturing, production, or stock-based environments is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales orders and raise customer invoices
- Manage purchase ledger processing and supplier payments
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Support basic credit control activities and resolve account queries
- Handle stock and delivery documentation accurately
- Work with detailed product coding and internal systems
- Support general finance and administrative duties across the office
- Assist with ad hoc operational and transactional finance tasks as required
