Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients, including technically complex engagements
- Act as a trusted business adviser to owner-managers, providing both business and personal insights
- Take overall responsibility for client engagements, including planning, resourcing and delivery
- Manage the end-to-end audit process, ensuring assignments are delivered on time and within budget
- Allocate work effectively across the team and maintain high standards of client service
- Review audit work and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Analyse complex business situations to identify key risks, issues and priorities
- Coach, mentor and develop junior team members to support their professional growth
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
About you
- Excellent working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Proven experience auditing clients across a range of industries
- Demonstrated ability to manage a substantial client portfolio
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and mentoring teams
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, client-focused approach
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
