About the role

Join East Midlands Police Legal Services (EMPLS) as a Solicitor on representing five regional police forces in a fast-paced, dedicated legal team. Provide expert legal advice, manage a diverse caseload, and collaborate with various clients and stakeholders. The role is based in Alfreton, but offers minimal office working and is agile.

Responsibilities

• Carry a case load and offer advice and advocacy.
• Provide legal advice to the EMPLS collaboration.
• Manage a case load in compliance with case management protocols.

Qualifications

• A professional qualification as a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive.
• Proven record managing a legal case load.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
