London, Liverpool Street area | 4 days in the office | Competitive base salary, OTE

Our client is a private equity-backed technology services and education company with a strong presence in central government, defence, and financial services. They are seeking a Sales Director to work closely with the CCO and help grow revenue in their three main sectors.

The role

This is a hands‑on commercial leadership role. You will build and manage a qualified Data and AI pipeline, have C‑level conversations with senior technical buyers, close large complex deals, and help develop the sales team. Building and maintaining senior client relationships — through meetings, events, and face‑to‑face interactions — is a core part of this role.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience driving growth across a sales team, not just as an individual contributor
  • A real commercial background in Data and AI, with experience selling upskilling programmes or consultancy and professional services in this area
  • Track record of signing large contracts in a consultative, relationship‑led environment
  • Comfortable in front of C‑suite buyers — CDIOs, Heads of Data, Transformation Directors
  • CRM‑disciplined and data‑driven in how you manage commercial activity
