A fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join a highly respected regional contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across Bristol and the South West.

This role offers the chance to oversee multiple projects and site teams within a business known for quality delivery, strong client relationships and a long-standing reputation within the market. You’ll play a key operational role, supporting project delivery from pre-construction through to completion while helping develop and mentor site teams.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Managing Site Managers and operational teams.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
  • Supporting pre-construction planning and delivery strategy.
  • Maintaining strong client and consultant relationships.
  • Monitoring quality, programme and commercial performance.
  • Managing subcontractor performance and project coordination.
  • Supporting project reporting and operational planning.
  • Driving health & safety standards across projects.

About You

  • Experience as a Contracts Manager within a main contractor environment.
  • Strong operational background across construction projects.
  • Proven ability managing multiple live sites.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and programme management ability.
  • Experience delivering projects across the South West.
