Overview
We are looking for a skilled mid‑level to senior developer to join a small, focused team dedicated to modernising our infrastructure and expanding our capabilities. Instead of simply following a predefined plan, you will influence technical decisions, guide the technology stack and shape the future direction of our systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the migration of legacy systems to a modern AWS/Hybrid architecture using containerisation.
- Designing and building brand‑new, AWS‑native systems, specifically leveraging AWS Bedrock for AI‑driven recruitment tools.
- Managing AWS deployments with Terraform and CloudFormation, and providing strategic input on future deployment strategies and best practices.
- Working with development teams to integrate, modernise, and deploy applications smoothly.
Location & Working Arrangements
Oleeo offers a hybrid working model in the UK, with a requirement to attend the Wimbledon Head Office. Individual needs can be discussed during the interview.
Qualifications & Experience
- AWS & Cloud Architecture: Hands‑on experience with Amazon Web Services, including both migration of legacy systems and building greenfield cloud‑native applications.
- Containerisation: Practical experience containerising applications for deployment in hybrid or cloud environments.
- AI & Emerging Tech: Familiarity or strong interest in AWS Bedrock and infrastructure for AI/ML tools.
- Infrastructure as Code: Solid experience using Terraform or CloudFormation to manage and deploy cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Proactive approach to identifying architectural improvements and guiding technical decisions within a team.
UK Residency & Security
Must be UK resident and hold a UK Government SC security clearance (background check required).
