Job Title: Resettlement and Inclusion Officer
Salary: £39,027 – £44,463 per annum (pro rata if part-time)
Grade: E
Contract Type: Fixed Term – 12 months
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

The Resettlement and Inclusion Officer supports the successful resettlement and integration of new arrivals into the borough. The role focuses on assessment, coordination of services, partnership working and community engagement to improve outcomes for individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on the resettlement of new arrivals into the borough.
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop personalised support plans covering housing, education, training, employment, financial inclusion, health and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate case records and produce monthly activity and evaluation reports to support annual reviews.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to improve access to services.
  • Manage and report community tensions or concerns, including hate crime‑related issues, escalating to appropriate agencies where required.
  • Prepare written and verbal reports as necessary.
  • Undertake administrative duties in support of the role.
  • Organise and facilitate drop‑in sessions and events, collecting feedback and data to inform future planning.
  • Attend voluntary sector and regional meetings to support the client group and ensure project updates are shared.
  • Carry out monitoring and evaluation activities required for the project.
  • Undertake additional duties consistent with the role and project objectives.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Basic DBS Check
