Financial Controller | London | Hybrid working | 15 month contract | £110k annual salary | June start

This is an exciting opportunity to join an iconic brand as their Group Financial Controller for 15 month contract.

It requires a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years post qualified (likely to be more) with previous experience managing teams of at least 5. There is a heavy focus on projects related to business expansion in this role.

The Group Financial Controller reporting directly into the CFO and will lead all core finance for the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance team of 7 people, promoting strong performance, accountability, and professional growth
• Drive financial planning and business performance, overseeing revenue, managing costs, and engaging effectively with budget owners.
• Take full responsibility for the Group’s financial reporting, including monthly management reporting, statutory financial statements, and consolidated accounts
• Manage the external audit process and deliver all statutory and regulatory reports within required deadlines.
• Take ownership of the ERP system maintaining data accuracy, streamlining processes, and delivering high-quality financial insights.
• Contribute to strategic projects such as growth initiatives, investment evaluations, and mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration where relevant.
• Drive financial planning and business performance, overseeing revenue, managing costs, and engaging effectively with budget owners.
